    Designed for fast, reliable field termination of 900 µm single-mode OS2 fiber, the Corning FuseLite 2 FL2-SCA-900-SM is an SC/APC splice-on connector with a factory-polished end face. Its fuse-on design places splice protection inside the connector body, eliminating the need for a separate splice tray and supporting repair, restoration, and new fiber installations. The connector has a composite housing, a maximum insertion loss of 0.3 dB, and reflectance below -65 dB. It operates from -40 °C to 75 °C and is intended for reflectance-sensitive applications across data center, enterprise, FTTx, central office, and hybrid fiber-coax networks.
