This card can be used for both purposes. It can connect 2.7CM/5CM SSD hard disk or convert (B KEY) M.2NGFF SSD hard disk of three specifications into SATA3.0 interface (two SSDs can not be used at the same time), give priority to identifying M.2NGFF SSD, and test OK 100% out of the factory.

Kindly Note:

If you insert two SSD at the same time, it can only recognize one SSD(M.2 NGFF SSD) first, but the hard disk doesn't work. (when the M.2 hard disk is inserted, the light is on. When the hard disk is inserted, the light is not lit.)
