PCI-E ASM1142 1xType-C+ 1xType-A is a universal serial bus USB 3.1 host controller of ASMedia, which complies with the for Scalable Thermal Controller Interface Specification Revision 1.1. It bridges the PCI Express interface to the two ports of USB 3.1. Up to 10Gbps high-speed bandwidth, backward compatible with older USB functions and devices. It can configure PCI Express as Gen 2x2 or Gen 3x1, conform to the USB Attach SCSI protocol revision 1.0, and support the debugport function.

Hardware Installation
1. Turn Off the power to your computer.
2. Unplug the power cord and remove your computers cover.
3. Remove the slot bracket from an available PCIe X16 slot.
4. To install the card, carefully align the cards bus connector with the selected PCIe slot on the motherboard. Push the board down firmly.
5. Replace the slot brackets holding screw to secure the card.
6. Replace the computer cover and reconnect the power cord.
