The UCTRONICS IEEE 802.3af active PoE splitter extracts power and data from standard PoEenabled network hardware. It accepts 4457V DC input from an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or PoE injector, and outputs regulated 5V DC up to 2.4A via microUSB port to power your end devices.

By using one single CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable, you can run network connection and power supply simultaneously at distances up to 100 meters. This removes the hassle of running extra power cords and hunting for nearby wall sockets, especially for hardtoreach installation spots.

Optimized for Raspberry Pi 2, Raspberry Pi 3B+, Dropcam cameras, Android tablets and a wide range of microUSB powered smart home, surveillance and IoT gadgets. Advanced onboard protection circuitry guards against overvoltage, overcurrent and shortcircuit conditions to prevent hardware damage during longhour continuous operation.
