Hardware installation

1.Turn on the computer and get it into the system

2.Plug the USB3.0 adapter into your computers USB port

3.Insert the network cable into the RJ45 port

1.Please insert the CD driver bound into your CD-ROM drive.

2.Find the driver files corresponding to the system, for example:

For Windows XP, Vista (32/64 bit)

Type AX88179/Windows/WinXP,Vista/Setup.exe double click it.

For Windows 7 (32/64 bit)

Type AX88179/Windows/Win7/Setup.exe double click it.

For Windows 8,8.1 (32/64 bit)

Type AX88179/Windows/Win8,Win8.1/Setup.exe double click it.

For Windows 10 (32/64 bit)

Type AX88179/Windows/Win10/Setup.exe double click it.

3.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

To Verify Windows® Driver Installation

Click on the Device Manager tab in System Properties, which you access from the Windows Control Panel. If you has installed successfully, you should see ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapterinstalled under Network Adapter item.
