1000BASE-LX WDM BI-DI OVER A SINGLE STRAND - Transmit and receive are wavelength-multiplexed onto one fiber: 1310nm in one direction, 1550nm in the other. Full-duplex 1 Gbps, 20 km ( 12.43 miles) over OS2 9/125 single-mode. Optical interface is LC simplex, UPC polish. Patch cord must be simplex; a duplex connector body will not mate with a simplex bulkhead.
FULL-DUPLEX GIGABIT ON A SINGLE STRAND - A SIDE 1310/1550, B SIDE 1550/1310 - Opposing wavelengths carry the two directions simultaneously, so the link runs 1000 Mbps full duplex in both directions at once - the same throughput as a two-strand pair, over half the fiber plant. Unit A transmits 1310nm and receives 1550nm; unit B is the inverse. One of each terminates a link and both ship in this box.
RJ45 10/100/1000BASE-T AUTO-NEGOTIATING, AUTO MDI/MDI-X - Copper port auto-negotiates 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-T against switches, routers, access points and NVRs. Cat5e or Cat6 UTP. Compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3 u, 802.3 z, 802.3 ab and 1000Base-LX WDM BiDi.
9000-BYTE JUMBO FRAMES, QinQ AND 802.1Q TRANSPARENT - MTU carries stacked VLAN tags intact, so the link passes a tagged trunk without stripping or re-writing. Jumbo frame support and LLF link-loss forwarding are each selectable on the rear DIP block.
SUPPLIED AS A COMPLETE LINK - Two converters (A side and B side), two 100-240 VAC power adapters, a Cat6 patch cable, wall-mount ears and rubber feet. Both terminations in one box. External requirement is one simplex single-mode strand between the two units.
