Not recommended for fridges/freezers: metal walls can block Wi-Fi, and low temperatures drain the battery quickly, reducing battery life.
How often does the device update its data?
Default: 10 min upload, adjustable to 30/60 min in app. Longer interval extends battery life. Device connects only on upload; sleeps between.
Can three 1.2V rechargeable AA batteries be used to power the device?
Not recommended. Three 1.2V rechargeable AAs may shorten battery life or prevent startup. Replace with three 1.5V non-rechargeable AAs when depleted.
What is the connection range of the device?
