How to Set Up Your Indoor Outdoor Thermometer
Why do the readings look different when I first use the device?
During first-time setup, keep the sensor and display together for 5–10 minutes after installing the batteries. This allows the readings to stabilize before placing the sensor in its final location.
Is this thermometer hygrometer easy to set up?
Yes. The display and sensor are pre-paired at the factory. Simply install the batteries and the display will automatically connect to the included sensor—no Wi-Fi, apps, or complicated setup required.
How far can the wireless sensor transmit data?
The sensor provides a wireless transmission range of up to 330 ft (100 m) in open areas. It can also transmit through walls and common household obstacles, making it suitable for most homes and outdoor spaces.
Why does the outdoor temperature reading seem inaccurate?
For accurate outdoor readings, keep the bottom sensor vent unblocked. Place the sensor flat or hang it in a shaded, well-ventilated covered area. Direct sun, blocked vents, or poor airflow may affect accuracy.
What information can I view on the display?
The display shows real-time indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, 24-hour and all-time high/low records, plus trend indicators that show whether conditions are rising, falling, or remaining stable.
