The Makita® 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver (Model DTD173, tool only, battery sold separately) is compact, powerful, and incredibly fast for a variety of fastening and fixing tasks. The DTD173 features Makita®'s proprietary bipolar motor with adjustable speeds (0-1, 300/0-3, 000 RPM and 0-2, 000/0-4, 100 IPM) and a maximum torque of 1, 240 in-lbs (approximately 1, 240 Nm). The Makita® 18V Lithium-Ion battery has the fastest charging rate in its class, allowing you to work longer and spend less time charging.
