Alphacool DC-LT Pump Top | Plexi (13136)

The Alphacool DC-LT Pump Top | Plexi is a Plexiglas pump top for the Alphacool DC-LT pump with three G1/4 threads, 49 x 49 x 24 mm without fittings and pump. The pump is not in the box: it comes from our DC-LT pumps.

Inlet and outlet

Alphacool calls this the optimal attachment for its DC-LT pump. The top is designed in such a way as to allow mounting on that pump, which makes it possible to integrate this miniature pump into your water cooling loop via G1/4 threads. The inlet fitting goes either on the side of the unit or on top, from above. The outlet is then connected on the opposite side.

Decoupling and LED

Threads have been installed in the top to enable decoupling, for example with Alphacool's Decoupling Standoff Kit (item number: 13701), which Alphacool says will please all silent fans. This allows the attachment with its pump to be mounted in a 3.5 inch drive bay. For case modders there is a 5 mm LED opening on the outlet side, and Alphacool says a 5mm LED sets this lid off beautifully.

What the loop needs

The top needs a DC-LT pump. Only one of the two inlet openings is required to operate it, so Alphacool advises ordering a screw plug for the other one. The DC-LT Individual Reservoir bolts onto this top.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
