Alphacool Pump Decoupling Kit (13505)

The Alphacool Pump Decoupling Kit is a set of four rubber buffers with M4 threads, plus screws, nuts and washers, for mounting a water cooling pump in a PC case without passing on its vibration. Alphacool lists it as the decoupling set Eheim/Hydor 4 buffer, article number 13505.

What it does

The decoupling kit allows vibration-free mounting of the pump of a water cooling system in a PC enclosure. The rubber dampers sit between the pump and the enclosure, so no vibration can be passed on to the case or even be amplified by it. Alphacool's claim is that the pump then works almost inaudibly. Of course all other components and devices can also be installed vibration-free with this kit.

What the pump needs

Each buffer is dual-sided and its thread is M4, so the pump or its bracket needs mounting holes that take M4.
