The Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper Dual 80mm Radiator is a radiator for two 80 mm fans, 45 mm thick, with two G1/4 ports and copper fins, channels and pre-chambers.

What the loop needs

The radiator has 2x G1/4 threads, IN and OUT, with a maximum thread length of 5 mm. Both are in use in a loop, one in and one out, so the radiator takes two fittings. It holds two 80 mm fans on one side, or four with both sides fitted. The fans are mounted with the included 30 or 35 mm M3 screws, and a metal plate below the holes prevents further penetration, so they cannot be screwed into the cooling fins. Alphacool's page also says matching screws are included to mount the radiator directly to the case.

Alphacool calls versatility the essence of the new NexXxos series. The radiators are available in different versions to be used with 120mm, 140mm or 180mm fans and in different thicknesses. Alphacool says the choice of 30mm, 45mm and 60mm offers "the perfect radiator for every purpose". Even mounting and installation of fans and radiator grills is described as easy and versatile with these radiators. The M3 threads are standard in the radiator sector, and Alphacool notes that M3 screws are available in all lengths at an affordable price. Even the dreaded insertion of a screw too far into the radiator does not result in expensive damage, Alphacool says. Unlike other radiators, the NexXxos series is equipped with an internal protective ledge which stops the screw before it damages the fins.

Alphacool says it covers almost all sizes with the NexXxoS radiator series and offers the most extensive portfolio of all manufacturers in this area. It runs starting from 40 mm dual radiators up to the triple radiator for 180 mm fans. The thicknesses are ST30, XT45, UT60 and Monsta. The number always stands for the thickness of the radiator in millimeters, and the Monsta radiators are about 86 mm thick. In addition, there are special sizes and HPC industrial radiators, special radiators that are designed for high pressure.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
