Sixpack

Six connectors of one type are frequently required in a build, and since that is so, Alphacool now offers sixpacks. Alphacool says this has many advantages to your benefit.

The Eiszapfen Connector Series

Alphacool calls its Eiszapfen Connector Series the high-end execution of these tried-and-true connectors. It says every requirement you could have of a connector is met with this series: highflow, form, processing and color. In Alphacool's words, a refusal to compromise in development and production has made the series into what it is. Components are available in the brilliant chrome of this pack or a deep, matte black, which Alphacool says will fit excellently into any system.

A special procedure binds the outer coating firmly to the surface, improving the longevity of the intense color and preventing any chipping or peeling of the coating. Along with their distinctive shape, the Alphacool logo that every connector now has makes them unmistakable.

The series text also covers Alphacool's HardTube connectors. There the connecting nut's slanted corners allow the O-ring to be pressed firmly against the HardTube, ensuring it sits even more securely than before. Alphacool says this allows for greater safety in transport.

For anyone looking for colorful options, the series text says the O-rings in the shipment come in three colors. With the available UV-light option, these will even light up in the corresponding color. Alphacool's scope of delivery for this pack lists the six fittings alone.

What a run needs

The thread screws into a G1/4 port, and the hose side takes soft tube. A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, so the six in this pack cover three runs.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
