Alphacool Tec Protect 2 Clear 1000ml Coolant (18651)

The Alphacool Tec Protect 2 Clear 1000ml is a clear, ready-made coolant for a water cooling system, 1000ml in one bottle. The mixture can be used directly from the bottle, already contains all the necessary additives and is not UV-active.

What it is for

Coolant is there to transport the heat from the waterblocks to the radiators, so every loop needs it. With this one you get it mixed, which leaves nothing to add.

Additives are included

The additives ensure a lower surface tension of the water, which significantly reduces the formation of foam and air bubbles in the coolant. It also protects the loop from corrosion, lime and other contaminants, and Alphacool calls it an ideal lubricant for all water cooling pumps.

High purity osmosis water as the foundation

Tap water carries many substances that do not belong in a loop: lime, chlorine and other contaminants. Chlorine is a very common component of tap water in many countries, because water companies mix it in on purpose. All of these can contaminate the coolant and then lead to heavy mineral deposits in the cooling system. Such deposits very quickly affect the fine cooling channels of CPU/GPU coolers and the radiator fins. While you can disassemble the coolers for cleaning, an infested radiator is nearly impossible to clean completely. Osmosis water is stripped of all contaminants: water in its purest form. Thus, Alphacool says, contamination of the water cycle is nearly impossible.

No restrictions

The coolant is suitable for all materials that are usually found in a loop. Alphacool's list includes materials such as copper, brass, nickel, chrome plating, aluminum, acrylic glass (PMMA), POM, PPS-GF40, PETG, acrylic, PVC and EPDM/PP. Within one loop you should only mix compatible metals, however.
