The Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra EX ARGB is a 360mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler for builders with a compatible 360mm radiator space who want a 2.1-inch, 480×480 LCD for system information or custom graphics and support for Intel LGA 1851/1700 and AMD AM5 CPUs.
Recommended For
- Builders of windowed, medium-to-large PCs who want the cooler to contribute to the build’s look, with a customizable LCD for images, GIFs, or system information and synchronized ARGB fans.
- PC builders who want to check temperatures or system information at a glance on the cooler’s display rather than relying only on on-screen monitoring tools.
- DIY builders installing a 360mm AIO who want magnetic fan connections to simplify fan assembly and reduce visible cabling around the radiator.
- Desktop builders with a compatible Intel or AMD socket and a case that fits a 360mm radiator who want a liquid-cooling setup with a display and lighting features.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- When gaming or running long CPU-heavy tasks on an unlocked processor, the user wants sustained cooling; a review found the cooler handled an extended Ryzen 5 7600X stress test and described it as suitable for higher-TDP CPUs, though maximum fan speeds can be audible.
- When checking temperatures or CPU frequency while tuning a build, the user can show live system readings on the pump’s LCD instead of relying only on an on-screen overlay or monitoring window.
- When building a PC with a visible side panel, the user can put a custom image, GIF, or video on the pump display to personalize the build; display setup uses Thermaltake’s TT RGB PLUS 2.0 software.
- When assembling a clean-looking PC or routing cables behind the motherboard tray, the user can connect the radiator’s three fans together with MagForce 2.0, reducing the number of separate fan cables to manage.
- When planning a build around a 360 mm radiator, the user should choose a medium or large case that supports that radiator size; it is not a fit-first option for compact cases without 360 mm radiator clearance.
