How do you remove these without damaging paint on door?
To remove these, please heat the installation surface using a hair dryer for about 20 seconds. Gently peel-off the lock using a hair dryer. Re-apply heat if necessary.
Remove adhesive residue using a detergent.
Do you need to push the button in order to lock it?
You have to press the button in order lock/unlock the device. Children and toddlers won’t be able to lock you in with a simple swipe.
What kind of doors will this work on?
All doors are suitable, but if your door can be opened by pulling the lever upward, we suggest that you apply 2 pieces (1 to the top, and 1 to the bottom).
Is the adhesive strong?
Yes, Inaya Door Lever Locks use certified 3M foam tape. I personally have this on my door for more than a year now, still going strong. :)
