JVCC FELT-N1 Nomex Felt Tape is a 1/8 in. thick adhesive-backed felt made from 100% meta-aramid fiber. The felt does not ignite, melt or drip, and it holds its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures while staying soft enough to cut and conform like a conventional felt.

Important

Meta-aramid felt is rated to 600°F on its own, but that figure applies to the felt, not to the finished tape. The acrylic adhesive is the limiting component and is evaluated to 400°F (204°C), so treat 400°F as the practical ceiling for the tape as an assembly.

Apply between 50°F and 100°F to a clean, dry surface free of grease and dirt. Not recommended for bonding to cross-linked polyethylene. This is a high-temperature material, not a general-purpose craft felt.
