Can I use a standard non-USB-C cable or a 65W fast charger to charge this fingerprint fridge lock safely?
No-use only a standard USB-C charger (5V, 1–2A), a USB-C power bank, or a computer port. Avoid Lightning cables, 65W+ fast chargers, damaged cables, and anything over 5V. Wrong chargers cause slow charging, battery swelling, or a dead lock.Charge dry
Will the adhesive really hold, or will it fall off after a few days?
Yes–the upgraded acrylic adhesive on this no-drill refrigerator lock holds securely when installed correctly. Clean surface, press firmly, wait 48 hours. Bonds best to smooth surfaces (glass, wood, metal, PVC). For permanent hold, use included screws
What’s the maximum gap this lock can work on? Will it fit my French door fridge?
Gap must be under 6.89 inches (17.5 cm). Lock body needs 1.54 inches flat area; base needs 1.26 inches. Measure first – most French door fridge locks fit if gap under 6 inches. If larger, this lock won’t work. (249 characters)
Is this lock waterproof? Can I use it outside?
No. This fingerprint cabinet lock is not waterproof. Indoor use only: fridges, cabinets, drawers, RV fridge locks (dry interior). Outdoor installation (shower, patio) damages electronics. Keep inside for reliable performance.
Why does my fingerprint fridge lock often fail to recognize my fingerprint or take many tries to unlock?
Usually finger placement, not sensor failure. Enroll 2 fingers, add different angles each—flat, 45°, side. press 10 times per finger. Unlock: press straight down with full fingerpad, hold 1–2 sec. Keep hands dry; clean sensor. Wet or light taps fail.
