How to choose between the two power ratings?
The airflow of the 3W is 95 GPH, while that of the 5W is 127 GPH. The 3W is suitable for aquariums with a capacity of up to 80 gallons, while the 5W is suitable for aquariums with a capacity of up to 120 gallons.
Dual outlet design, can one of the outlets be closed?
The air pump uses a dual outlet design. Once turned on, both outlets will release airflow simultaneously, so it cannot close one of the outlets to use only one air tube. If the air pump is closed, the airflow from both outlets will stop.
