Q1: How do I set up the device to APP?
There are two pairing modes, please use a 2.4Ghz WiFi to connect. (Not support 5Ghz) EZ mode: Press the ON/OFF button 3 times until the LED indicator flashes red rapidly. AP mode: First enter EZ mode by pressing the ON/OFF button 3 times until the LED indicator flashes red rapidly. Then press the ON/OFF button 3 times again until the LED indicator flashes red slowly.
Q2: My dimmer plug won't respond commands in app.
If the plug shows as “Offline” in the app, it will not respond to any commands. Please check that the plug has power and that your Wi-Fi connection is stable. If the issue continues, try resetting and re-pairing the plug.
Q3: The smart plug does not work properly.
This dimmer plug is designed for dimmable lights only. Using incompatitble device will lead to malfunction. It supports dimmable incandescent bulbs (up to 600W total, 300W per outlet), dimmable CFL bulbs (up to 300W total, 150W per outlet), and dimmable LED bulbs (up to 300W total, 150W per outlet). It does not work with non-dimmable bulbs, integrated smart bulbs controlled by Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, or lighting that uses transformers, adapters, or motorized components.
Q4: What if Alexa can't discover my Treatlife smart dimmer plug?
Firstly, please add the dimmer to the Trealtife APP, and name it that Alexa can easy to identify; Secondly, go to the Alexa App manu to click "More" and select the "Skill & Games", search "Treatlife" and Enable the skill; Thirdly, enter the Treatlife APP account and password on Alexa APP, and link to your Treatlife account to enable the skill.
