Self-Test Every 5 Seconds
The GFCI outlet automatically conducts a self-test (auto-monitor) every 5 seconds to ensure the GFCI is continually working to protect people from electrocution, which exceeds the UL standards of self-test frequency of 3 hours.
0.025 Seconds to Break the Circuit
When the leakage current in the circuit or load equipment or the ground neutral fault reaches to the 4~6mA, the GFCI plug can break the circuit automatically within 0.025 Seconds (25ms)
Automatic GFCI adapter
Automatically restores power connected equipment after an initial plug-in or a power interruption. For applications where automatic restoration of power does not pose a thread or safety risk, automatic reset GFCIs can be used.

To test if the GFCI plug works normally for electric leakage, please follow the steps below:
Step1:
Plug the GFCI plug itself into a regular outlet and check if the green indicator light is ON;
Step2:
Press the TEST button and check if the green indicator light is OFF;
Step3:
Press the RESET button and check if the green indicator light is ON.
If the GFCI plug passes the test, then the GFCI plug is working to protect you.
