The Bestest-5 dial test indicator features a rotatable black face and a carbide tip for measuring surface variations in narrow or recessed areas. Continuous clockwise pointer rotation displays units in fractional inches, and the ball-bearing lever system swivels through 180 degrees. The dial face is mounted at the top of the indicator parallel to the axis, with three universal dovetail mounts on the top, front, and back. It has a monoblock body design with jeweled bearings in an isolated assembly for high precision. This indicator is anti-magnetic for operation around magnetic chucks and features corrosion-resistant chrome plating.
