This GFCI outlet automatically performs a self-test (auto-monitor) every 5 seconds to help ensure continuous operation and protection from electrocution. This exceeds the UL standard self-test frequency of 3 hours. Always Safe The GFCI features low power consumption. Surge and lightning protection withstands 6 kilovolts. It has undergone 6000+ factory tests, twice the testing frequency of the UL standard. A manual reset is required after power is restored. Water-Resistant GFCI This manual-reset GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) with an LED indicator reaches IP65 water resistance, exceeding the UL 50E-3R rating.
