A high-torque, ball bearing supported motor along with hardened spur gears ensures smooth functioning and robust performance. Speed is conveniently adjusted using a 6-position rotary knob and an ON/OFF trigger control. HOW TO USE: Adjust the desired motor speed by turning the Speed Knob situated on the top of the Motor Housing. While firmly holding the Contour SCT with both hands, press the On-Off switch with your forefinger. To secure the On-Off switch in the ON position, press the On-Off switch and then push the Lock Button found above the switch on the left side of the Handle. Maintain the broad work surface of the Drum parallel to the material being worked on. Always operate the tool using both hands.
