If you work with flanges, the AMPCO W-12 Flange Wedge is an essential. It can be used to help align and set up flanges during installation. The nonsparking, nonmagnetic wedge will not cause any sparks or short circuits in electric substations. It has a high strength nickel aluminum bronze material that makes it corrosion resistant. This 3 1/2 in. long and 2 in. wide wedge is only 3/8 in. tall for easy insertion into tight spaces and narrow gaps between flanges and pipe connections. You'll want to equip yourself with the AMPCO W-12 Flange Wedge when you're working on electrical substations where flanges are involved.
