IGNITES IN ANY CONDITION
- Reliable sparks in rain, snow, or wind.
- Perfect for camping, hiking, and survival adventures.
- Always ready when you need it most.
How to Use a Fire Starter Effectively in Damp Conditions (4 Key Steps):

Find Dry Tinder
Look for flammable materials like pine needles, dry bark, cotton, or tissues that don’t absorb much moisture. If everything is wet, peel back bark to find dry layers or use fire-starting cotton or waterproof tinder.

Prep the Fire Starter
Wipe off any moisture or dirt from the fire starter's surface. Then, scrape off the black coating on the magnesium rod to expose the shiny metal underneath. Shave some magnesium flakes onto the tinder to improve ignition.

Strike Properly
Use a sharp scraper at about a 45° angle to the ferro rod. Keep the rod steady and pull it back firmly and quickly to create sparks directed at the tinder.

Ignite and Nurture the Flame
Once sparks land on the tinder, blow gently to encourage a flame. Gradually add kindling to build the fire.
