REVERSIBLE COMBINATION VISE SYSTEM: This 8-inch Reversible Combination Vise System integrates a pipe and bench vise. Built from robust 65,000 psi ductile iron castings. Offers two large anvils with dimensions of 4.1 X 4 (Upper) and 8" x 3.25" (Lower). The lower anvil transforms into a product support shelf when the front jaw is reversed. Contains a replaceable top jaw (Serrated and Reversible to Smooth) and serrated pipe jaws crafted from hardened steel. TECHNICAL SPECS: Jaw Width 8" (20.32 cm), Jaw Opening 8.5" (21.59 cm) when Reversed 12.5" (31.75 cm), Throat Depth 4.75" (12.065 cm) when Reversed 3.25" (8.255 cm), Min Pipe Capacity.125" (0.3175 cm), Max Pipe Capacity 4.5" (11.43 cm). SWIVEL BASE: Interlocking Swivel Base with 360-degree rotation, fitted with 2 lockdowns. Features a continuous rolled main screw thread and a balled screw handle provided with safety rubber washers. HOW TO USE: Confirm the vise is firmly mounted to the workbench and the swivel base lock is secure. Open the vise by rotating the handle counterclockwise. Position the item between the serrated jaws. Close the vise by rotating the handle clockwise until the item is snug, then proceed to tighten until the item can no longer be shifted. Prevent over-tightening, as this could harm the item or the vise. When completed, rotate the screw handle counterclockwise to free the item.
