Yost Vises 480 8" Heavy Duty Utility Combination Pipe and Bench Vise

COMBINATION VISE: This 8-inch utility combination pipe and bench vise is constructed from 30,000 PSI cast grey iron with a steel U-channel bar. It features a large anvil work surface, along with replaceable hardened steel serrated top jaws and a large capacity permanent serrated pipe jaw. TECHNICAL SPECS: Jaw Width: 8.0" x Jaw Opening: 7.50" x Throat Depth: 4.5; Pipe Capacity: 1/8" x 3" Diameter, pipe jaws are cast-in place; 0.67D X 10.4 long handle with rubber bumpers; 4.13 X 3.63 pounding surface. SWIVEL BASE: A 360-degree interlocking (geared) swivel base with (2) lock downs adjusts the jaw direction for proper placement; Base mounting tabs: (4) x 11/16" (mounting hardware is not included). HOW TO USE: Ensure the vise is firmly mounted to the workbench and the swivel base lock is secure. Open the vise by rotating the vise handle counterclockwise. Position the item between the serrated jaws. Close the vise by turning the vise handle clockwise until the item is snug in the serrated jaws, then continue to tighten until the item can no longer be moved. Avoid over-tightening as this may harm the item and/or the vise. When work on the item is complete, turn the screw handle counterclockwise to release it.
