HEAVY DUTY VISE: This ADI-5 is a 5-inch professional grade bench vise constructed from 130,000 PSI austempered ductile iron. It includes an interlocking (geared) 360-degree swivel base. The handle, lockdowns, and replaceable hardened steel serrated Machinist and Pipe Jaws feature zinc plating. TECHNICAL SPECS: Jaw Width 5" (12.7 cm), Jaw Opening 6" (15.24 cm), Throat Depth 3.25" (8.255 cm), Min Pipe Capacity 0.5" (1.27 cm), Max Pipe Capacity 3" (7.62 cm). SWIVEL BASE: Interlocking (geared) 360-degree Swivel Base with two lockdowns and an ADI base containing three mounting holes. Comes with a large anvil work surface. HOW TO USE: Ensure the vise is firmly mounted to the bench and the swivel base locks are engaged. Open the vise by rotating the handle counterclockwise. Position the item between the serrated jaws. Close the vise by turning the handle clockwise until the item is snug, then continue tightening until the item can no longer be moved. Avoid over-tightening as this may harm the item or the vise.
