ER70S-6 MIG WIRE: This is the most prevalent type of copper-coated mild steel GMAW (MIG) wire for single or multiple pass welding.
SHIELDING GAS: ER70S-6 welding wire can be utilized with 100% CO2 or a blend of 80% Ar and 20% CO2 as shielding gas. Ensure you select a wire that is compatible with the shielding gas you plan to use.
EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE: ER70S-6 contains the highest blend of manganese and silicon deoxidizers, allowing for higher welding currents with 100% CO2 shielding gas and resulting in a smoother weld bead with minimal to no post-weld cleanup. It is suitable for sheet metal application at high welding current without burn-through.
