What is the role of the doorbell transformer?
The function of the doorbell transformer is to install it correctly and provide power to the doorbell after it is powered on, rather than charging the battery.
1) Assemble the doorbell and thermostat along the wall from the socket without existing doorbells or wires. Easy to install and able to set up in minutes.
2) Connected through a doorbell transformer, it is best to use it together with the product battery to maintain operation even in the event of a power outage of 120.
3) The doorbell transformer does not have a battery. AC120V main power supply is required.
4) The doorbell transformer can only supply power and cannot charge the battery.
5) The doorbell transformer is suitable for all doorbells with an input of 8-24V. Please follow the instructions on the doorbell.
6) If it is found that it is not charged, please check if the 120V voltage connected to the doorbell transformer is normal? Check if the interface connecting the doorbell is loose?

2)Install wires from 24 volt adapter into the terminals for your doorbell unit (any wire can be connected to any terminal)
3)Plug adapter into outlet
4)Put doorbell face plate on housing unit
5)Power up and verify your doorbell is receiving necessary power using the accompanying application
