What is the difference between 115-volt and 230-volt?
Standard outlets in North American homes are 115-120 volts. 230-volt outlets have 3 prongs but the two straight prongs are sideways so a special 230-volt outlet is needed. Stoves and dryers and some furnaces usually have 230-volt outlets.
Does this pump come with vinyl tubing?
Yes. 20' (6.1 m) of 3/8" I.D. vinyl tubing is included.
Does this come with an overflow safety switch?
Yes, this model comes with an overflow safety switch.
What is an overflow safety switch and how does it work?
On models that come with an overflow safety switch, the switch activates when condensate exceeds 2.7". The switch can be set to NO (Normally Open) to shut the system off or NC (Normally Closed) to activate an audible alarm (alarm not included).
The pump is louder than it should be. What can I do?
The unit must be level and installed on an even surface or wall mounted. Wall mount the unit or add a rubber mat under the pump to help absorb the vibration. Check to ensure lines aren't blocked and the check valve works properly.
