THE DIFFERENCE - This 12-inch stainless steel precision square incorporates a 1/16" thick stainless steel core. BUILT-IN SHOULDER LIP - Two precisely machined aluminum cheeks are attached to the base leg of the square to create the beam. The narrower cheeks form a lip upon which the square can rest at the end of your workpiece. SCRIBING NOTCHES - The integrated scribe notches, combined with the shoulder lip, facilitate easy scribing. The laser-etched markings provide clear contrast against the non-glare surfaces and will not wear off. MORE FEATURES - A notch in the blade permits a pencil to reach the very edge. The wide base formed by the cheeks allows the square to stand upright independently. An end-of-beam vertical scale simplifies machine setup.
