SOLID OAK This Oak Overlap Transition is crafted from Northeastern Red Oak. Each transition strip is produced from high-grade FAS1 or superior lumber. Employ this transition to smoothly move from a higher floor to a lower floor. DIMENSIONS The transition strip measures 6 feet in length and 3 1/2 inches in width. The overlap edge stands 3/4 inch tall and assists in resolving floor transition issues by reducing the higher floor to the lower level. The overlap lip is 7/16 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick. NATURAL COLOR This solid oak overlap is supplied unfinished. It can be stained to match the preferred color of your home and surrounding floors, as red oak accepts stain exceptionally well. If staining the transition is not the optimal look for your home, it can remain unfinished as it appears excellent in its natural state. INSTALLATION Based on the types of flooring you are transitioning between, there are several methods to install it. You can adhere, nail, or fasten the transition strip to the floor.
