SOLID OAK This Oak Overlap Transition is crafted from Northeastern Red Oak. Each transition strip is produced from high-grade FAS1 or better material. Employ this transition to conveniently move from a higher floor to a lower height floor. DIMENSIONS The transition strip measures 8 feet in length and 3 1/2 inches in width. The overlap edge stands 3/4 inch tall and assists in resolving floor transition issues by reducing the higher height floor to the lower height. The overlap lip is 7/16 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick. NATURAL COLOR This solid oak overlap arrives unfinished. It may be stained to match the preferred color of your home and the surrounding floors, as red oak accepts stain very effectively. If staining the transition is not what will appear best in your home, it can be left unfinished as it looks excellent in its natural state. INSTALLATION Depending on the types of flooring you are transitioning this overlap between, there exist several methods to install it. You can adhere, nail, or fasten the transition strip to the floor. This transition does not feature predrilled holes and works seamlessly and efficiently on any job site
