SPECS - You will receive a 6-inch and an 8-inch precision woodworking square. Accurate to within 0.001 inch along the full length of the tool. Made in the USA. BUILT WITH PRECISION - These precision woodworking squares begin as a solid piece of high-cost, exceptionally stable, cast aluminum tool plate. The plate is then meticulously machined in multiple, high RPM passes using state-of-the-art CNC equipment. The outcome is a one-piece ruler and handle square. STRENGTH & ACCURACY - Once a perfect square is formed, two pieces of precision-machined aluminum are added to create the cheeks of the handle. These cheeks are attached to the handle with two stainless steel dowel pins that provide robust rigidity and exact alignment when pressed into their precision-machined holes. This level of strength and accuracy is simply not achievable with squares made from separate ruler and handle parts or those punched-out on a stamping press. FEATURES GALORE - The inside edge of the squares handle includes a shoulder to let it rest flat on the work so you can precisely mark either edge of the ruler. The substantial base also makes it simple to stand the ruler upright to check for square on your table saw blade, jointer fence, band saw blade, and other machinery setup tasks. MORE FEATURES - With the square standing upright, verifying casework parts for square is a simple, hands-free task. A notch is milled at the inside corner of the square so you can zero-out your layout line completely to the edge of your work.
