It features a hexagonal outer profile that allows for tightening with a wrench using the hex flats, creating a secure, leak-resistant joint. This fitting is rated for pressure class 3000 with maximum pressure ratings up to 3000 psi at 100°F and 2500 psi at 350°F. It conforms to ASTM-A-182 standards, ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 thread standards, and ASME B16.11.
