How to filling butane?

1] There should be no open flames anywhere in the vicinity of the lighter when refilling the tank.

2] Shake butane canister, Invert the lighter and press outlet nozzle of butane canister against lighter tank port in center of the adjustment valve. Both lighter and butane canister should be vertical.

3] Press the butane canister down firmly and release pressure several times to fill lighter. There should be a faint “hiss” as gas enters the lighter tank. Butane liquid should be visible in the sight glass on the side of the lighter.

4] Once full, let the lighter sit for [3] minutes before use…to allow any butane on the outside of the lighter to evaporate away !!!
