What if I accidentally misoperation cut the zip ties before installation?
Don't panic. You can use zip ties to re-tighten the two posts near the door lock opening and install the baby gate.
Is it normal for there to be a gap between the door lock and frame?
Yes. Gaps between door lock and frame are normal and will be resolved after installation.
How wide should the gap in a door lock be kept after installation?
After you have completed the installation, please check whether the gap in your door lock is within 2 mm. If not, please tighten the bolt adjustment.
There are no threads in the hole. Is this normal?
Yes. Our gates are designed with a pressure-mounted, which means there are no threads in the holes. This design is Innovative to ensure easy installation and flexibility in relocating the gate. Rest assured, this is normal and safe.
