Separate the two provided collars andattach them together.
.Shaft Collars A (the one without thescrew hole) should NOT be tightened. Itmust remain loose enough to slide upand down freely.

Tighten only Shaft Collars B securelyso that it grips the cylinder tightly andcannot slide.

Using an Allen wrench, tighten the twoscrews on Collar B alternately until thecylinder loosens and can be removed.
REMOVE CHAIR BASE
prepare ahammer and a round steel pipe or sturdy supportstand with an inner diameter greater than 50mm.
Turn the chair base upside down and place itinto the pipe or stand.
Use our Cylinder Base Removal Tool on thetop end of the cylinder.
Strike the tool firmly with the hammer until thebase separates from the cylinder.
