Receiver Overview

• Receiver Connects To Any Standard Millivolt Gas Valve System

• Easy Access To The Receiver's Battery Compartment Uses a Sliding Battery Cover

• The Receiver Have a Learn Button

• Pre-Programmed For Quick Installation , Connect The Two Terminals To The (TH ) and( TH/TP) Terminals In The Millivolt Valve

• This Receiver Requires Four (4) “AA” Batteries (Batteries Not Included)

LEARNING TRANSMITTER TO RECEIVER

-1-The transmitter privacy (DIP) Switches are preset at the factory. Setting the 4 bits DIP Switches on transmitter to select a security code.

-2- Put the receiver slide switch to “REMOTE” location. Using a small screwdriver or end of a paper clip gently press and hold the ‘LEARN ‘button on the receiver to accept the transmitter security code upon initial use, when you release the LEARN button the receiver will emit an audible 3 “beep” sounds.

-3- After the receiver emits 3 “beep” sounds. Press the transmitter “ON “or “OFF” button and release at once. The receiver will emit several beeps indicating that the transmitter’s code has been accepted into the receiver.

Note:( If matching failed from the the first attempt please repeat step 1-3 )

This Remote Control System is Designed For Use With a Millivolt Or 24V Gas Valve System Only

• Always Check The appliance Home Owner’s Manual For Additional Information, Or Warnings Regarding Accessory Installation Before Connecting This Remote Control System

• Do Not Use This Remote Control System On Applications With Voltages Above 24 Volts AC/DC And 1 Amp Current

• Do Not Short (Or Jumper) Across The Gas Valve Terminals To Test The Remote Control Installation

TROUBLESHOOTING

Battery icon on the remote	Low Batteries ,Solution is to Replace batteries.
LCD Display is blank	Check battery installation and replace batteries.
Receiver beeping every minute	Receiver Low Battery .Solution is to Replace batteries.
Fireplace does not turns on.	DIP (Privacy) switch setting on transmitter does not match receiver , Solution is : . Make sure the transmitter dip switch is matched to the receiver.
Fireplace does not turns on.	Transmitter measures temperature exceeding 99 degrees and shows “HI” on LCD display. Solution is to Move transmitter to a cooler place and wait until temperature drops below 99 degree.
Fireplace does not turns on.	Distance between the transmitter and receiver is more than 30 feet , Solution is to Make sure the operating distance is less than 30 feet
Receiver no signal	1.Receiver is installed in an enclosure , Solution is to Make sure the receiver is not inside a tight enclosure.
