

The Rip Fence for POWERTEC BS900 Wood Band Saw with adjustable clamp
For Work Table
The POWERTEC BS900RF is designed to work with the POWERTEC BS900 and similar model band saws with 300mm or 11-13/16” tables . The unique fence clamps directly to the table providing support for your ripping applications – no rails are required. By turning the lock lever, the fence can be adjusted from 11-3/8” to 12”. Turn counterclockwise to increase the length, and clockwise to decrease or shorten.
NOTE: Fence will not work with table tops thicker than 9/16” or with table saws or other saws requiring guide rails.

Setting The Rip Fence
- Raise the fence locking lever on the rip fence. Place the rip fence on the work table so that fence locking lever is at the front of the work table
- Lower the fence locking lever in order to lock the rip fence in position on the work table.
- If the fence is too loose, turn the locking lever clockwise to tighten. If the fence is too tight, turn the locking lever counterclockwise to loosen.
- Once proper tension is set, press the head of the fence against the front of the table and lower the locking cam until it locks.
- This fence clamps directly on the edge of your table, no guide rail needed. If there is flashing located along the edge of your table the fence may not clamp correctly. Please remove any flashing with a file before using the fence.
If the fence is not parallel to the blade or needs to be moved to correct blade drift, it can be adjusted by loosening the two screws on top of the fence.
- Unclamp the fence and press the head against the table to make sure it is square to the table
- Loosen the two screws on top of the fence block and move the fence the required amount
- Tighten the two screws and clamp to make sure fence is now in the proper alignment.

Setting The Rip Fence
