Q: Do I need a neutral wire for installation?
A:Yes. A neutral wire is required for this switch to function. If your house was built in the mid-1980s or later, there is an excellent chance that you have neutrals in your home. If you are unsure, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician.
Q: Can I use this switch with another brand of smart switch in a 3-way setup?
A:No. It is not compatible with other smart switches from different brands. You can use a traditional mechanical on/off switch.
Q: Why can't I connect the switch to Wi-Fi or the app?
A: The smart switch supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. Please check that your router is set to 2.4GHz (not 5GHz or auto dual-band). Also, avoid using special characters in your Wi-Fi name or password.
