Pair of 140lb. Heavy Duty Garage Door Extension Springs Stretch Springs, 25" Long,Double Loop Ends, High Precision Electrophoresis Black Coated, MIN 16,000 Cycles, for 7ft High Garage Doors
Limited time offer, ends 09/21 By DrakeMount FortunaTech Parts
- DIMENSION: One pair of 140 lb. heavy-duty garage door extension springs (blue), measuring 25 inches long at rest and 67 inches long when fully stretched. Designed to fit Tall configurations on residential doors no higher than 7 ft. PACKAGE CONTENTS: One pair of garage door extension springs and one pair of non-slip gloves. HIGH QUALITY: Made from professional ASTM-A228 spring steel coils that have been heat-treated to ensure extremely high durability. The latest electrophoretic coating technology offers excellent corrosion resistance and tensile properties. Salt spray testing lasts up to 300 hours with a minimum of 16,000 cycles, with one cycle consisting of one door opening and closing. The springs do not require maintenance and help keep your hands clean during installation. DOUBLE LOOP ENDS: Double loop ends are sturdier than open loops because two spring coils connect to the eye bolt and pulley. These springs feature double looped ends as a replacement option. Any end type can be replaced with a double looped end. IMPORTANT: Replacing springs in pairs is recommended. Typically, both springs are the same age and have similar wear. When one spring breaks, the second spring may also be near the end of its cycle and may break soon. A newer spring has more pulling force than an older spring, which can cause the door to open and close with unequal force on both sides. This may damage the door or garage door opener and create an unsafe condition
