Key: The model 1215 storm door handle is intended as a replacement for surface mounted handles; it is not compatible with mortise handle sets.
Before Purchasing Model 1215: This lever handle for exterior doors is a compatible replacement only for storm door handles that have two location posts and an anchor screw. If your existing handle has four location posts and no anchor screw, you will need model 1216 instead.
Door Compatibility: This lever handle works only with out-swinging doors that are 1 to 2-1/8 inches thick. It is not compatible with in-swinging storm or screen doors.
Straightforward Installation: When replacing an existing handle, the screw posts for the handle must be 1-3/4" apart. For new installations, you will need a 7/8-inch spade bore drill bit, not included.
