

This HDMI Cable Tester, specially developed by Treedix, can quickly and accurately detect HDMI cable issues, check for internal short circuits or open circuits, and also use a multimeter to measure wire sequencing. The package includes a user manual.

The test board for HDMI is specifically designed for HDMI cable test, supporting multiple versions including (1.0-2.1) It accommodates various interfaces: Standard Type A, Mini Type C, Micro Type D; and is suitable for cables of any length.

You can use battery power supply or usb type c cable. When inserting the battery, pay attention to the two yellow metal contacts on the left side of the battery holder, and do not push them under the battery. You need to use a screwdriver to remove it.

Line Sequence
1.Insert the HDMI male connector into port B of the test board.
2.Set the multimeter to diode (continuity) mode.
3.Touch the multimeter's positive probe to one of the copper wires of the HDMI cable.
Place the negative probe on the test board's shield.
4.When the positive probe contacts a specific copper wire, the corresponding LED on the test board will light up, indicating the pin number of that wire. Record the pin number for each copper wire based on the LED illumination.
