is the keyboard full rgb backlit?

The keyboard has three zones (left, center, right) that can each be lit with any color and intensity you chose.  This laptop also comes with software that can change the color/intensity dynamically based on events (e.g. your health/mana/ammo levels during a game), but I believe this only works with certain games and have not actually tried it to see how well it works.

Is the SSD a standard 2.5 inch or does it have/use a M.2 slot?

The SSD is M.2 and contains the OS. The M.2 slot that contains the drive is NVMe compatible but the drive MSI installed is basic SATA M.2, although a fairly decent Kingston SSD. You can upgrade it to a NVMe drive if you choose.
