What kind of graphics card does this 8540W have? The NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M graphics with 1GB dedicated DDR3 video memory or the NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M graphics with 1GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory?

Question 4

what is this computers on board graphics?

Accepted Answer

it comes with:
1. ATI FirePro M5800 graphics with 1 GB dedicated DDR3 video memory
Microsoft DirectX 11 (Shader Model 4.1) and OpenGL 3.2 capable
2. NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M graphics with 1 GB dedicated DDR3 video memory
3. NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M graphics with 1 GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory

Personall i got the fx 1800m but my guess is because of the lack of info on this product that it could come with any of the three.
Any of them will be the best laptop graphics for the price though.

My laptop also came with 4 ram slots, which i was only expecting 2. but again lack of info.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us in regards to your question.

The best way to confirm specs is actually by checking the manufacturer's website (that's where we get them). Click on the Specifications tab on the item page, and look in the Quick Info box on the bottom of the page. You'll find a link to the item on the manufacturer's own site with the most up-to-date details.
