The computer itself was in great condition but the battery it came with wouldn't hold a charge.  I decided to order a new battery instead of returning the PC because the PC was in great condition and I didn't want to loose it.  Hope this helps!

How much RAM does this system support and is it DDR3?

Hi, am at work rt now. The laptop was purchased for my wife. I am not sure of the maximum memory capacity mine came with 4GB and the stick type is DDR3. However, keep in mind that Newegg units are not cloned each can be unique in operating capacity. So best to call u inquire with Customer sup. for the specific unit you may purchase..

Th unit works well. All peripheral links work well also. Only concerns were the registry code not working right.. The Windows serial number. Also the mouse pad traction could be faster more responsive but that can be set reset, I just have not had the time.

This is a heads up for this product, ok?  It says under "Storage" on the Specifications page "500GB" but if you go further down on the page (and read the title of the product) you'll see it's listed at "120GB."  The correct size is 120GB, not 500GB.

Ditto - I got kinda screwed too. Given that mine has has problem after problem since day one, and I've had to replace the hard drive, both the disc drive it came with and the one they sent me to replace that, I'd just bypass buying this one and get something else.

Hi, Does it has signs of normal use, wear, scratches? Does is look old?

Looks new actually. They repainted the one I received. I know that for sure because the tape they used to protect the keyboard from the paint was still on when I received it. Also, the laptop kind of smells like spray paint. After removing the tape on the keyboard, this laptop practically looks new.

yes it has a firewire port labeled 1394, but I have never used it and don`t know if it works, the esata port doesn`t work and after looking online,  alot of people complain that it doesn`t work and can`t get it to work

Sorry, I'm really not sure. I bought this as a gift. What I did notice while I was getting the laptop ready for it's recipient, is that you'd definitely want to upgrade to a SSD and bump up the RAM. If you're looking for a gaming laptop, I'd save up a bit more money first.
