They were trying to keep the price down, not a super performance design, but good for every day in mind. Most Acer computers with 2TB drives are either for Gaming with Intel I7 (13th) or standard systems with I5 and AMD processors. Id say give them a few months and you might find one with 13 gen architect or previous generations
